True to her desire to avoid writing anything about herself, Teri
has convinced a ghostwriter to do it for her....with her retaining
editing privileges.
Teresa Anne Lamprey made her worldly debut on November 17, 1973
in State College, Pennsylvania where her mother, Patti, was a research
assistant at Penn State University and her father, Roger, was a
Math and Computer Science grad student. Early on Teri exhibited
her talent for being able to sleep anywhere.....her swing, car seat,
playpen, leaning on the dog, or even on a blanket on the floor of
a favorite restaurant. Her
favorite place, however, was on the "bouncing" shoulder
of Mom or Dad. This life long sleeping talent has served her
well, especially on family trips where she could avoid all the scenery
her parents found interesting, by falling asleep 5 minutes after
they pulled out of the driveway and waking only for meals.
Teri has always been independent, determined, self-motivated and
convinced that any project she wanted to do, would, indeed, get
done. She did most of her schoolwork in front of a television
(while being able to converse at the same time, thus perfecting
her ability to multitask) and early on decided she wanted to be
a video producer. After her graduation from West Georgia College
in Carrollton, GA, with a degree in Mass Communication, she became
a freelance photographer and production assistant in the Atlanta
area, eventually working regularly for Georgia Power. Teri
is presently a full time employee at the corporate offices of UPS,
as a video PRODUCER............mission accomplished.
